Paf open casino in Mariehamn

The game company Paf will during the summer 2010 open a new casino in Mariehamn and hope that many of their online players will visit the Åland Islands. Åland’s proximity to Sweden make the casino a contender for the Casino Cosmopol in Stockholm. Paf already has two casinos in Åland, and they will now be merged into a single 500 square meters which can accommodate 400 visitors per day. Paf gathers all activities in Mariehamn under one roof: games, entertainment and meals in connection with gaming events and tournaments.

Paf challenges Casino Cosmopol

– “The new casino in Åland will obviously be attractive to Swedish visitors and be a good alternative to Casino Cosmopol in Stockholm. We will have long opening hours and it takes only two hours to travel between Sweden and Åland. “Says Paf relationship director Inger Holmström.

Paf has since the 1970s, been working closely with the companies operating passenger ferries and cruise ships in the Baltic Sea and with the new casino Paf would get more players to visit the Åland Islands.

– “Many people who travel between Sweden and Finland, have tested on our machines and casino games on board the vessels. Now we can also offer a casino in Åland. We work hard for people to enjoy themselves and have a relaxing break in their daily lives, “says Jukka Nikula, Director of Paf games on ships and on Åland.
